Trick in Windows Operating System

Hello Learners, 

I am here with a new trick in Windows O.S That will blow your mind and it will be useful to you to easily working with that.

This article shows you how to add any program to the Startup folder and the users can easily use this feature.

Microsoft has added many features with it's operating system, and that features are very useful to the windows users.

The startup folder, conveniently shown on the Start Menu, made it easy to see which programs would launch when Windows booted up. However, in Windows 7, the startup folder is a hidden system folder.

Suppose that you want to open your Microsoft Word or any program when your system will started it will run each and every time automatically. and this is possible or happen because of the Startup folder in the Window.

Whenever you are adding any program in this folder  you have to login as administrative so you have the administrative privileges or Permission in the Startup folder. 

The Steps are given below that will help you to setup this feature.

Step 1:
To Create a shortcut on the Desktop, right click and drag the program icon from the Start Menuonto the desktop and select Create Shortcut Here from the menu that pops up when you let go of the right mouse button.

Step 2: 
In a Windows 7, the startup folder is a hidden system folder. Rather than unhide the folder and search around the Windows folder structure to find it, Microsoft made it simple to locate the startup folder.

To locate the current user’s startup folder, click on Start>All Programs and then right click on the Startup folder. Then, choose open from the menu.

When we open the Startup folder it will go to the given path.

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

Step 3:
Drop the shortcut of the MS-Word which is created on the Desktop.

Now, The Process is completed and when you boot-up your system or start your system it will open automatically. 

By using these process you can also add multiple programs there and they all started one after another.

Note: Above given steps are only working in the Windows 7 and if you want to use this in Windows 8 then There is an other way.

Step 1:
In the Windows 8 there in start menu startup folder is not shown in that case there is need to open Windows Run box and it will be open by  pressing Windows+R Button and the pop-up displayed.

Step 2: 
After the Step 1 there type the shell:startup in the Run Box and click on OK.

Step 3: 
Then the folder will open and simply drop the shortcut program there and the work is done.

Now Start or boot the System it will started Working.
